Markus 2019.jpg

Jump Into Music is committed to providing music lessons to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance.

Half-hour music lessons are offered for $10 using the guidelines below, or $30 for all other students. Longer lesson times are available for those interested and are priced proportionally (hour-long lessons would cost $20 or $60 per lesson, for example).

Students are eligible to receive Jump Into Music's lower rate if they or anyone in their household are in any one of the following:

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps

  • Medicaid

  • Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA) (including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers), Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811, Public Housing, and Affordable Housing Programs for American Indians, Alaska Natives or Native Hawaiians)

  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit

  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program

  • Tribal assistance programs

We determine eligibility for our lower-rate lessons based on the same eligibility to receive low-cost internet per federal guidelines as shown here and here.
